Seven free days is plenty of time to try every task and work on your weak spots.
A tutor, a class and a conversation partner each do part of it. Niveau7 runs the real tasks on the real clock, then gives you a level and fixes right after.
After every task: your estimated NCLC, what the examiner listened for, notes on your own words and your top three fixes.

Both count for Express Entry. The TEF Canada speaking test takes 15 minutes in two sections: getting information on the phone, then convincing a friend. The TCF Canada one takes 12 minutes in three tasks: talking about yourself, a role-play, then giving your opinion. Both cost CA$390 at the Alliance Française in Vancouver, so pick the format you're most comfortable with and check test dates near you. Niveau7 lets you try both.
It's an estimate, not an official result. Niveau7 applies the NCLC descriptors to what you said, criterion by criterion, and when you're between two levels it gives the lower one. We don't yet have data comparing our estimates with official results, so use the level to track your progress and the report to see what to fix.
Niveau7 grades what you say from a transcript of your voice, so your accent itself isn't scored. If a word doesn't come through, the examiner asks you to repeat it, the way a real person would. On the real test, pronunciation is one of the criteria, so aim for clarity.
Yes, if your mic isn't working or you can't talk out loud right now. But the real test is spoken, so when you type, the report doesn't judge your pronunciation and suggests saying it out loud next time.
As soon as you know your date, or even before you book. Niveau7 fits your plan to the time you have: a few days to learn the test, most of it practicing task by task, and full mocks at the end. For Express Entry, your results must be less than two years old.
With NCLC 7 or higher in all four French skills, you get 50 extra CRS points if you also have CLB 5 or higher in all four English skills, or 25 if you don't. NCLC 7 also qualifies you for French-language draws: 12 so far in 2026 (to Oct 27), with CRS cutoffs of 382 to 435.
On the TCF Canada, 10 or 11 out of 20. On the TEF Canada, 456 to 493 out of 699. But in your Express Entry profile, IRCC asks for the old-scale score (out of 450), the “Équivalence ancien score” on your TEF results, where NCLC 7 is 310 to 348. IRCC says the /699 score isn't compatible with its system.
If you're 18 to 54, you must prove CLB/NCLC 4 in speaking and listening. But when the proof is a French test, IRCC's list asks for B1 or higher in listening and speaking on the TEF Canada or TCF Canada, which is above what NCLC 4 alone suggests (on the TCF, B1 in speaking starts at 6/20). IRCC decides your application, so aim for B1.
You need intermediate speaking and listening: NCLC 5 or higher. In speaking, that's at least 6 out of 20 on the TCF Canada, or at least 387 out of 699 on the TEF Canada.
No. Niveau7's 360 prompts are original, written in each task's format and often set in Canada. For official examples, CCI Paris Île-de-France publishes sample TEF Canada speaking tasks.
No. Niveau7 isn't affiliated with France Éducation International or CCI Paris Île-de-France. It's an independent practice tool for the speaking test.
